As a solo piano vocalist, Leisa specializes in piano bar, cabaret, and dinner music. Her wide repertoire spans well known jazz, rock, pop and easy listening piano tunes, tailoring the music to suit the event and the venue. By combining both her pianistic and vocal abilities, Leisa has managed to cover a wide cross section of styles, which creates the perfect ambiance to any event.


THE LEISA KEEN TRIO/ QUARTET (Night and Day)

The Leisa Keen Trio/ Quartet has quickly become one of Canberra’s busiest and most popular jazz combos. The group plays a smooth blend of well known jazz tunes, and a few pop tunes with their own “jazz treatment”, but they are equally at home playing Rock’N’Roll and Soul to dance the night away.
The trio, consisting of piano/vocals, bass and drums, is in constant demand for weddings and parties; however Leisa also brings 18 years of musical theatre and cabaret experience to the trio, adapting it to suit both cabaret and corporate events. The trio is often expanded to become a quartet or quintet with the use of trumpet or saxophone, or even further to a 7 piece band with a pumping sound for larger corporate events.
With a diverse range of both old and new songs, the Leisa Keen Trio/ Quartet (or larger outfit) is sure to delight people of all age ranges and backgrounds.

CANTABILE  (Italian for "In a singing style")

This 4 piece "A Capella" group is perfect for roaming through your event, and entertaining on the go without the need of musical instruments. Alternatively, Cantabile can work as a featured act on stage for a 45 minute show. The group consists of 2 male and 2 female voices, blending together in harmony that will bring a smile to people of any age. Songs range from music of the 1950's right through to the music of today. Cantabile has a large repertoire of Christmas Carols.

Cantabile will also happily work as a surprise featured act for your corporate event, bursting into unexpected song as they are disguised - serving lunch, cleaning the venue etc.


 CABARET/ MUSICAL THEATRE

Leisa has had over 18 years experience as a theatre and cabaret performer, as well as working as a musical director for many musicals and cabaret shows, both large and small.

Leisa will happily bring her theatrical expertise to your function, should it be needed. Themed events can easily be organised to suit the occasion.
