JAZZ - Pure Imagination. Leisa Keen (independent production)

There is emotion in hearing Keen's pure voicing of Do You Know What It Means To Miss New Orleans? It is a reading compassionate to the circumstances, unforeseen as they were.

Keen is right on top of presentation, in control of voice, mood and piano in this selection of works, ranging widely through styles, ages and deliveries.

The 10 musician backing group brings together the multiplicity of talent that blesses the many streams of the city's musical river.

The session jaunts through such works as the opener, Do Something, and 42nd Street, chuckles through Bring On The Men, and plucks at the heartstrings in Fifty Percent, raunchy or sentimental, or any sentiment in between.
